webestang Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Another non-Mustang build......simple stuff, just a cruiser....... Still learning to use BMF.......
realgone58 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Good thing about BMF is that you didn't mess up your model, because you can always pull it off and re-apply if you screw up.
Guest Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Nice. A sharper blade would help you foiling efforts. Also, you missed the mold parting lines on the body.

Harry P. Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Did you read the PM I sent you earlier today?
webestang Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Did you read the PM I sent you earlier today? Just got it.....!
Frank Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Very nice build. I hate to be picky, but you have the trunk emblem upside down.
PappyD340 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Very NICE build, I like the color combo, you do need a sharp blade for foiling!!
Sixties Sam Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Nice 56! Good colors, and I like the custom taillights. I just started using BMF a year or so ago, and I quickly learned that you must take your time trimming the foil. My knife wants to wander if I go too fast. Sam
rocklandrambler Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Very nice but why no BMF on windshield or vent window moldings??
Danno Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Blue radiator hose? Decent model, but the comments are accurate ~ untreated mold lines, BMF missing from windshield & vent window frames, and trunk emblem upside down. Fix those things and she's nice!
johnbuzzed Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 That Vicky looks really nice- I like the very different color scheme. It's like vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on top. I have found that when I use BMF on a body with trim that's not very distinct, it helps to scribe around the trim with a sharp Xacto blade before any paint goes on. This yields a more defined line on which to trim the BMF, once it's applied and burnished. And the big thing with using BMF is to use a brand new blade. Oh, yeah- don't rush the application!
webestang Posted November 1, 2013 Author Posted November 1, 2013 Thanks for all the tips guys......I'll change that trunk emblem...... And I'll foil the window........LOL Blue rad hoses.....like the Goodyear ones you put on 5.0 Mustangs......LOL
Mike 1017 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Great color combo. BMF practice, practice practice.
