shas Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 This AMT's Chevelle was my first american muscle car that i build(4 years ago),since then i am mostly building just good old american iron. She was metallic green, with white stripes and black interior. I was never satisfied with her looks so i decided to redo her. I tried to replicate the vinyl roof on the car,soo i painted the roof beige. Model is painted with the rattle can and has two coats of clear lacquer over it. I used some BMF for the window trim and i added the wheels from AMT's Ford van. The trunk opens, interior is carpeted and the engine is wired but i didn't take any pics of it. So, give me your honest opinion guys, how does she look now?
Greg Cullinan Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 The stance looks spot on. Color and wheels are a good choice.

Curt Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 She's a beauty now! I like the choices you made for this car.

lordairgtar Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Very very nice. Makes me want to build one of those.
Guest Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Very nice, but I am the odd man out, I dont care for the wheels, Cragars, Keystones , Americans or 5 hole slots for me, lol.

Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 It's very nice. The only thing I would do is to shave that pin from under the trunk hood. Liked the wheels, and also the Wide Ovals.
bbowser Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 Great model, nice update. I really like your dio backround too!
