Jared Roach Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 So I haven't been building much at all. Been a lot of things going on but before winter I painted a few bodies to have so I could continue to build and this revell 85 camaro was one of them. I was going to build it box stock but then I added the Pegasus wheels, upgraded brakes, and lowered the suspension. Then I decided to add a motor with a little more power lol. Used some parts box headers and used a combination of a corvette exhaust cut and modified and aluminum tubing. Interior is all stock except I added some vette seats and flocking. Overall I'm really happy with this build and it turned out to be a lot of fun.
cobraman Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Looks real nice. I like the color combo and the wheels look very nice.
Guest Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 That's a sharp looking little Camaro Jared! I really like the color and the LS1 swap! I have an AMT '92 to build someday.
o-man Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Great looking Camaro! Wheels and color are great along with LSx swap.
bbowser Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Great color combo, nice clean build. I like it a lot!
slusher Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Super sharp model. great color choices and detail..
Terry Jessee Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Nice job. I don't remember the last time I saw a new build of that car. Is that Monogram's? Those wheels look great on that car. Terry
matthijsgrit Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Oh yeah..., you can park this right here in the driveway, please. Great build!
Helix Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Nice build Jared, the Chrome Ts suit the Camaro
Ron Hamilton Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Brings back memories. I had quite a few of that generation Camaro for Company Demonstrators, and a 1991 Convertible for a personal car.
Chief Joseph Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Great job and really nice color combination Did your kit have a funky hood? The hood in mine had a gap of about 1/8" in the center where it was supposed to meet the top of the front clip. I spent a lot of time with hot water trying to get it to lay flat across the front but I still think I'll need to glue it down to make it look right!
Sixties Sam Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 A beauty! Really nice finish, well done! Sam
