Roy, there's also a chance that I'll win the lottery also. Saturday will be a nice day and I'm hopin' to see some of you at the Milwaukee NNL. Last year we had 900+ models on the tables and two builders from Winnipeg will be returning for the third time to enjoy the show as well.

Nick, if I don't win the lottery 1st. this weekend, then I wish You the best of luck, Sir.

Yep... upper 60s Friday, 70s on Saturday... chance of snow on Monday.

Only in the midwest...

Harry, It's like they always say 'round here..don't like the weather? wait 5 minutes.

Nah. Not corned beef, it's pastrami!

Pastrami on a hamburger??

Well, no need to add salt to that (I don't, anyway, as a rule.)

One of my friends ordered country-fried steak when we were out to dinner Wednesday. She immediately dumped half the salt shaker on that and her french fries before even trying it. She'd take that burger and do the same thing.

Yikes!

My thoughts exactly Danno!

Then she complains about water retention.....

For the last twenty years I've known her, I've been trying to get her to make the connection.I cook with very little salt myself, don't really like and we have trouble with blood pressure, and the fact that there's already plenty of salt in most canned foods, anyway. For whatever reason, she never complains that I don't add salt, and she never does when I make something.

Then again, she didn't realize she lived on a state highway.

Don't get me wrong, I love her to death, and she's brilliant in her own way (BA and two MA/MFA in English,) but sometimes with her, common sense takes leave.

Gotcha Charlie! I've always worked in pharmaceutical companies, surrounded by PhDs. When ever we'd dig a pit on site, it was our safety procedure not only to put saw horses and tape around the construction site, but to post a guard there too. People asked me why and my response was it was either that or we'd have to pull all the PhDs out of the hole every hour.

Pinch me... I must be dreaming.

As I type this, Saturday afternoon at about 10 minutes to 6, the temp is 78 degrees! :o

And we have a chance of snow forecast for Monday!!!

You people who live outside of the midwest have no idea how crazy our weather is.

I know, my sister and I were out and about some today and I actually had the A/C in my 200 on (didn't want to roll down the windows, had loose stuff in the back seat), just tooooooo nice today!

I washed and waxed the Mustang. Man, that Meguiar's "Cleaner/Wax" is a great product. I even vacuumed out the interior, and washed the salt out of the floor mats. The car looks like it's brand new!

I love spring! :D

BTW... I also cleaned up the garage floor.

Get this: I had to use an ice scraper to scrape the buildup of salt off the concrete floor... a broom alone couldn't cut it!

I know you guys in Arizona have no idea what I'm talking about. Salt? Huh? Why would there be salt on the garage floor?

But you guys in the midwest... you know.... ^_^

I know exactly why you have salt on the floor of your garage, Harry. Makes perfect sense to me.

Your own personal little Bonneville! :P

83 degrees and sunny here in Eastern PA! I've been outside most of the day, doing my chores. Already changed the plugs on the Breeze, and came inside to get the correct spark plug gap for the Tracker. Pep Boys is a funny place... ask for a part for a 5 year old Dodge Caravan and they tell you it's obsolete... but ask for a rotor and cap for a 1991 Geo Tracker and they had it! Amazing!

Same here Harry. 72 at this moment, and tomorrow we get snow here in west central Mo. I want to chase storms, not watch little white flakes flying around...

With Saturday's high actually hitting 80 here, I figured ok... winter has to be over, right? I mean, it's halfway to May, fer cryin' out loud! But what a change today.

Saturday: Sunny, breezy, high of 80. Pretty much a "10" as far as weather goes.

Today (Sunday): the "high" was the overnight low (64)... and the temp has been sinking like the Titanic ever since. Currently in the 40s.

Tomorrow (Monday): Chance of snow.

Yep. The dreaded "S word" rears its ugly head again!

Yep Harry it could happen as I've seen snow on Easter before, but I kinda think that we're done with that white stuff 'til next December. And they're a LOT of people who are hoping that I'm right.

Possibility of snow for the Berkshires and higher elevations of Vermont Tuesday.

Today...I stayed in most of the day, I was very sore from yesterday and didn't feel like moving too much. But I did go outside for about twenty minutes. Humid, but nice. Still 58 degrees now. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, too.

Just checked the forecast, lows below freezing Tuesday and Wednesday. Snow.

Every body sing! "Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"

"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

It was in the eighties here in Eastern PA yesterday. I celebrated by working out side the whole day. I changed plugs on two cars and did a tune up (I guess that's what changing the cap and rotor is called these days) on the Tracker. It had been running rough and I couldn't remember how many decades old that and the plugs were. Interesting find... one of the plug wires had come loose and was just sitting on the plug. Found our problem Houston!

Then I got out the leaf blower and blew winter out to the back of the property. I over did it, I get going and lose track of time and overall effort. So I'm a bit sore this morning.

I pulled my monster of a snow blower outside and was about to drain the gas... then I thought better. That was a sure way to guarantee more snow! So I put it back in battle ready position to ward off the snow demons for the rest of the season!

After all, we do need good weather on the 26th for that silly little model show!
