These are going to be Christmas presents from my son for his Grandparents. They have 2006 and 2011 Mustang GT's So I used the following Revell kits to somewhat duplicate them.

Now I know the one kit doesn't have a Coyote motor in it, but I doubt his Memaw is going to fuss about that.
The 06 is painted with Walmart gloss black and the 11 is Duplicolor Toyota silver. Both cleared with Krylon and polished. Used the 5.0 decals for Revell's 90 LX mustang for the silver car, and used the GT decals from the 10 kit on the black car so they would show up. Both interiors painted black; one semi-gloss and the other flat with the skin oil trick to give it a little sheen. Thanks to so others before me, I cut off about two coils all the way around on both cars. They sit right, I can't imagine the 4wd stance they would've had.

I know they are not 100% accurate by any means, but should be good enough to sit in their respective display cases. Thanks for looking and comments welcomed.

Nice models, I'm sure they'll be pleased! Now how did you get such cool parents? Mine drove Crown Vics!

They are actually my soon to be ex in-laws. My Dad has an Avalon and an F150.
