bbowser Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Very nice! My first car was a '66 so I might be a little prejudiced but I like it a lot.

OldTimer50707 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Nice job. Those were really weird cars.
donb Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Love it. Looks great! I do have a soft spot for Corvairs!
Dan Helferich Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 It looks great! My first car was a red four door '60 Corvair.
MrObsessive Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) Seeing these pics reminds me very much of when I was a kid in the '60's and I was SURROUNDED by Corvairs! My Mom and Dad divorced when I was about four. Interesting enough, they would later go on to date people that drove Corvairs! I also had an Uncle that was a Corvair nut. He I believed owned every model Corvair that Chevy made throughout the years.......and still had a Corvair when he passed away four years ago. I really like your build! You did an excellent job rescuing this now rare gem. I have also a builtup '60............plan is to someday turn it into a '63. I always liked the glitzier chrome on the pillars on that model year Monza. Trick is to find a junker with that front end and mate it to the '60 body without ruining it.
