Hayabusa Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone and/or 1961 Pontiac Ventura SD
Wagoneer81 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Somebody really needs to do a 1975 Checker Marathon sedan !I strongly second that!!!
Edsel-Dan Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I too would love a Checker Other than the Danbury/Franklin Mint piece of course!!!
jbwelda Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Another for the Checker! I don't think a body would do...what is the suggested donor kit for that resin body? and I don't think R&R has a good enough track record to buy one without eyeballing it in person first. I was pretty happy with their El Matador until I really started scoping it out: left side front is a good 1/4" lower than the right and kinda bent over to one side. now its destiny is as an interesting paperweight. even my friend jerry amaral pronounced it junk. jb
mikemodeler Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I cant find his thread. A link please. It is the Mobeius ford truck thread Lee.
buffalobill Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Continental Mk II - is this just a wish-list hopeful, or more than a strong rumor?
jaydar Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 It seems i can afford the cost of a wish, so hete goes......1968 Mustang convertible in 1/24. Carry on. Joe.
LDO Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Continental is my pie in the sky daydream only. As for the subject of this thread, is all this excitement really over a 1971 Ford pickup? We've known about it for a year or more.
LDO Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 maybe it's about the 69 F-100 shortbed Eh. A handful of people excited about an old pickup.
Austin T Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Just like how there's a handful of people excited over some old Mopar. Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to automobiles.
martinfan5 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 (edited) Wow, one of the model companies has a cool kit in development??? That's some big news right there!! Seriously, threads of this nature are less than worthless and amount to nothing than a pathetic attempt by the TS to burnish his "insider" credentials. If you can't or won't tell what it is you're referring to, kindly keep it to yourself. I dont get it either, why post a thread about something you cant talk about Edited December 28, 2013 by martinfan5
sjordan2 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I dont get it either, why post a thread about something you cant talk about What's wrong with posting a thread that would pique the interest and enthusiasm of our members? Last I heard, there's a certain amount of leeway on this forum.
