Profil 24 kit. modified seats, turned brass and aluminum bits on dash. Built for Creative Miniature Associates....oh yeah he never paid me. Lesson learned never send model out before check arrives.

Thanks for all of the compliments. It was a fun build particularily in the cockpit area. I rebuilt the seats to more closely resemble the seats in the real car. By grinding and adding the tubular frame with round styrene they look much better than the stock kit pieces. Much of the dash switches and knobs, and bezels were turned on the Unimat. I primarily use automotive laquers to paint with. I have a pretty good system down of laying down color, clear and polishing using micro mesh sanding clothes. But a good paint job starts with a good base, body work and prep.

Great job on one of my all-time favorite cars. Is the metal trim on the hood separate or is it molded onto the body?

The trim is photo etch. I run a light coat of Tamiya clear to attach the trim. Any excess can be cleaned up with denatured alcohol. It does not effect the laquer paint.

Even if italianità is a musical term - this fantastic car has italianità! And so does this beautifully executed model.
