Johan Sox N Martin kit wheels from Johan Comet, rear slicks from partsbox, but not glued on so can change when I find some more Johan Firestones, No wiring as the distributors were both miss cast, so basically an out of the box type build with Slixx decals.

Great work, as always, Brett! Smooth paint job and nice work with the decals. Also your engine proves, that a very nice model can be built without wiring or anything. Great work.

Love this car, seen him race grumpy Jenkins at lions dragway, an at dragway 42 back in the day..nice build, also there's no really.knowing that he didn't use Goodyear tires from time to time, so I would leave them on, looks mean..

Looks good.

I would not worry about the tires.

There was no 71 Cuda missile as it was a Challenger in 71 and then a Cuda in 72.

I did a 70 Challenger with the 71 paint job as at the time there were no decals for the 70 version. Slixx has them now.

That Johan kit is a fun one to play with.

Nice job!

Thanks guys :) .

Roger, I too am aware it wasnt a 71 cuda, just working with what I had, but it looks the part and it was fun so thanks again :)

Calnaga Castings has the Firestone slicks that are cast from the old JoHan Sox & Martin kit, both front tires and rear slicks. you'll have to search for them on the web, I can't post links for some reason.

That does look the part Brett and having fun while building should always be the most important aspect.

I totally agree, I hope I did not offend you Brett. Sorry if I did.

Speed city also has the Drag 500 slicks molded in rubber.

I have a set from both speed city and calnaga and you can't go wrong either way. Both are very nice.

Thanks again, much appreciated. Roger, no problem at all, I'm way thicker skinned (though some would say just thicker) than that, besides which you are the 70's pro stock guru in my book , so your advice and input is always valued here.
