RandyB. Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) I decided to change the title from "Rebuild" to "Restoration" because I think this would be considered more of a restoration project rather than a rebuild. This is the third restoration in a series I will be doing over the next few months. This was a very easy restoration since all that was required was some BMF over the silver trim paint and a light polishing with Scratch Doctor to bring out the finish that has dulled over the years. Also, she leaned to the passenger side so I levelled it up for a more realistic stance. Please check it out and thanks for your feedback. Before After Edited February 2, 2014 by RandyB.
oldscool Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 That is beautiful! I remember building one that was molded in red back in the day. Could you show us the engine?
Chris White Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 that has to be my favorite mopar, and you made it beautifully
RandyB. Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Thanks everyone. Gerald I don't have a pic of the engine on this one.
TooOld Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Nice !! Back in '71 I didn't care for this body style but it sure looks great now !
Sport Suburban Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Nice job Randy. I really enjoy restoring these old builds. This one freshened up real nice. I too have polished up some of my older builds that did not get BMF. Most are done now.
slusher Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Gorgeous model Randy. Your builds look perfect...
