This 77 T/A build was inspired by my friend Tulios [lovefordgalaxie] amazing box stock builds. This is the most modern car that I have built so far.The HOK Black Basecoat was colored sanded many times, cleared coated, and finally waxed and polished with Mothers products

Thanks for looking

Mike

Nice.

I have one in my 'to-do' stash.

What problems did you encounter with the hood?

Because of the way that the hood attaches to the body. I did not want to try and remove it because the hinges are fragile and would probably crack off . With hood on I can't see what is preventing the hood not to close all the way. I think that I might glue the hood shut.

I feel honored to be the inspiration for this stunning build Mike!!!

Box stock and factory stock can be fun!!

What about a 1/25 scale Burt Raynolds figure to go with it?

By the way, I see nothing wrong enough with the hood to justify gluing it down Mike.

That looks fantastic! Is this the Revell kit? I may have to take a second look at that kit if it is. I was hesitant because of the box art. But that looks really nice!

Yes it is the Revell kit. I would recommend it. I know what you mean about box art. Sometimes the box art is so goofy looking it is hard to get past it.

Thanks for the comment.

I`m glad I`m not the only one who thinks the car on the box looks goofy. :D

Another question for you. What was your method for getting the gold inserts in the honeycomb wheels.
