TimKustom Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Been a while since I finished something but thought I'd share my latest build. This is Revell's '32 Ford Roadster with a few parts from the '32 5-window. Some of the modifications include: Frame "Zee'd" 10" in the back with scratchbuilt "Shockwave" air-ride. Front "Zee'd" 4". Body work includes "welded & filled" doors (top of the body would be less than 30" in 1:1 scale) and smoothed cowl to accept Replicas & Miniatures Duvall windshield frame. Engine: 392 Hemi with Latham Supercharger and 6 Stromberg Carbs on custom intakes. Fully wired, plumbed with carb linkages (over 50 parts). Interior features '40 Ford Dashboard with Model Car Garage detail set. Replicas & Miniatures finned brakes & headers (with scratchbuilt mufflers). AMT parts pack tires with custom offset wheels (from Revell 5 window). Paint: Alclad Candy Yellow over Gold Base topped with LMG "Super Gold Pearl" & fogged "Orange Accent." Interior: Testors "Rootbeer" topped with Alclad Candy Yellow & Tamiya "Racing White." Nuff of the words, on to the pix. And one more with the car I built last year, the Bugatti-rod.

Ace-Garageguy Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Without doubt, these are two of the best looking traditional-influenced hot rods I've seen in a long time. Gorgeous stuff, and engineering that could work in the real world.
