Scalper Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Thanks guys. Getting warmer out. Spray time soon. Still not sure what colour to paint her yet.
Monty Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 If you're still thinking of shooting it the color depicted on the box art, Model Masters Pontiac Engine Blue or Boyd's Ice Blue Pearl would be fairly close.
Scalper Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Thanks for the info monti. My wife would like me to paint it like the box art.
DavidG Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Nice job so far slant noses are so sweat. I so agree! I wonder why Porsche stopped making them? Was it just a passing fad? Actually it's hard to think of Porsche as being a company that folds to passing fads. Andre, the wheels look FANTASTIC! In fact, I don't even see where they were attached to the sprues.
Scalper Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Maybe they had to make so mane production slant nose for certain racing league. Thank you Sanding sticks are great for wheels Wish I had money right now to but paint. Because the weather is perfect. Next week hopefully she will have some paint.
Belugawrx Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Cool Man!! Looks like you could polish that body right now !!! Use wet 2000 for the seam lines then Tamiya Fine Compound on an old cotton T-shirt scrap Try it .......you like it!! Love me a porsche Cheers
