uelder valongo Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Guys, this wood was finished years ago Revell kit, opened doors, lowered suspension, tinted wood panel patterns and scratch real wood surfboards. Performance Red automotive paint and aftermarked wheels and tires. This is the very cool model in my collection !!! Thanks
Harry P. Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Man, that is slick! My only negative is that the panel lines on the wooden parts are too dark. But other than that...beautiful! I love it!
Bill J Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Sweeeet!! I really like the woody, you really made it into a super clean car
Modlbldr Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Simply stunning. I've been wanting to build mine for years but another build always creeps in ahead of it. Great job. Later-
Tom Geiger Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Very nice work! I especially like the opening doors and detail on the bungie cord that holds the surf board on the roof!
Erik Smith Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 That is a very cool model. Great work. I like the dark wash on the wood - looks mildly weathered/humidity stained.
mrindy77 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I like it a lot...reminds me of 48 Ford woody I saw at the 1986 Street Rod Nationals in Ok city.
Chris White Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 that is a piece of art, nice "old school meets new school" theme
PARTSMARTY Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 BEAUTIFUL-AND AS I ALWAYS SAY-ORIGINALITY RULES-!!!
Dyno Davo Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Ok I promise no woody jokes!!!!!!!. Sweet build and photos
Psychographic Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Absolutely beautiful! The overall design and execution are great. I know you said the wheels are aftermarket, care to share where you got them? This is a great kit and the last one I managed to finish myself. Do you have any pics of the underside, I really like the frame that comes with this, unfortunately I couldn't use mine as I made it into a two door.
