cdubya Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Build number two after a twenty year absence from the hobby. Starting to get the hang of it again.
Skypower Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Wow that looks great I used to own a 1:1 of those back in the early 80's and I just had that kit in my hand this morning thinking about making it my next build but decided to go a different way on my next build. You did a great job I wouldn't have guessed you have been away from the hobby for so long. P.S. I just did my Nova in those same colors love them.
High octane Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 I owned one that I had bought new in the fall of '69 from Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge, and it was FAST!
slusher Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Super fine clean build. Great shade of yellow also..
TooOld Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Oh yeah . . . you've got the hang of it ! Lookin' really good ! One thing I would suggest is a little foil on the hood pins .
Grumpa Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Nicely done Chris. A lot of things have changed in the hobby over the last twenty year, but it looks like you've not missed a beat!
Sixties Sam Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 Looks good! That color really stands out! Nice work! Sam
cdubya Posted March 15, 2014 Author Posted March 15, 2014 Thanks for the comments. I noticed the hood pins weren't painted after I posted the pics. The chrome is Prismacolor silver paint pen, followed with a silver sharpie.
Teddy J. Tannehill Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I think the Mopar guys are pat'n you on the back and saying you have done well...Body Color, Decals, Under the hood, really good work.
