Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 1st one in 12 years finally complete. A lot of things I have learned that will be different on the next one. Small defects are so noticeable to the person building it I guess, but overall, I'm satisfied.
bobthehobbyguy Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Nice job. I agree that we can be our own hardest critic.l
Scuderia Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 For such a long layoff you did awesome, love the colour choice also.
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Thanks Bob and Lawrence! Greatly appreciated.
dragzz Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 i guess that a 1970or71 hemi cuda by revell iam right i think u did a vary nice and clean work there nice paint work as well
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 71' and you are correct. Thanks. I played this one safe. Think I'm going to do wiring on my engine for my next one
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 It's there a way to level a bent hood?? The passenger side sticks up at the front..
slusher Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Great build Joshua, real nice color and finish. I don't think the hoods needs any adjustment, it would be easy to make it worse. Looking forward to your next one..
PappyD340 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Extemely NICE Joshua! excellent color choice too!
Dyno Davo Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Excellent assembly and detailing. You have built a fine example
hjracing Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Great job, yes sir! The paint is really nice done as the build itself.
hgbben Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Great work for such a long time out. Look forward to your next build.
Chris White Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Nice work, hope the next one comes out in half the time
Agent G Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 That looks really nice. I agree with the rest leave this one alone, she looks good as is. G
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Thanks everyone! Coming from you guys it means a lot!! I'm surprised without a clear coat it came out mirroring the peg board in the back ground.
CaptainAhab Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Wow ! You haven't skipped a beat. Nice cuda. Welcome back, stick around, the model building community is just so welcoming and we love clean builds just like this one. Kudos
cartpix Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 It looks even better, assembled. I'm glad you decided to quit fussing over the flaws. Don't sweat the small stuff, on your first build. Buy more kits & do better, on the next one. With all you've spent, on equipment, it's too late to quit, now.
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 O I can assure you I'll never quit lol
