2002p51 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Just finished this Revell '57 Ford. Mostly stock except for the wheels and tires which came from a Monogram '65 Mustang GT-350 kit. Paint is Testors Graphite Gray Metallic and Classic Black over Gray primer. And what about the Holman-Moody logo on the front fender? Oh, that's for the engine: The Holman-Moody Ford 429 NASCAR engine came from a Polar Lights Torino kit. Comments and critique are welcome and encouraged.
Davewilly Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Really nice I like the color combo....It seams like a nice kit...I need to pick one up

bogger44 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Awesome build, Drew. The color combo, Torque Thrusts, and a Boss '9, whats not to love?!
HNTR Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I don't comment on alot of builds, but this is very nice.
2002p51 Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 did you have to do any mods to get the engine fit?? Not really. The engine went in pretty easy. The headers were another matter and they have been trimmed pretty radically in places you can't really see to get them in.
Darbo Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Looks great, those wheels look good on that car for sure!
A.R.C. Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 You throw a set of mags and a dark paint job on these cars and they have a killer no nonsense look about them. Nice work, it looks awesome.
madisonwoodsmith Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That is so sweet, my teeth hurt! Nice build, reminds me of my Dad's. He bought a used on in '60, grey. Loved that ol beast
