1 bad55 stan Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Man you nailed that, super sweet build, and that paint looks perfect....
Sixx Posted March 24, 2014 Author Posted March 24, 2014 Thanks guys! The paint is a custom mix of HOK...house of kolor. Made my own raspberry, sprayed whole body with it, masked off roof, sprayed HOK candy brandywine on the body. 2 part clear, polished the snot out of it ! Kit wheels with turned aluminum valve stems
PappyD340 Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I remember looking at this one before Derrick, but hey it's worth looking at again, OUTSATNDING build!!
rmvw guy Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) Not sure if I commented on this or not if you did previously posted it so, I will just comment now. Nice pictures, love the color, very cool looking model. I still haven't built mine purchased over a year ago, I think I have two now. I was so excited when the '50 Olds kit came out. Nice inspiration seeing yours Derrick, thanks for posting. Edited March 25, 2014 by rmvw guy
D. Battista Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Derrick.. Super nice paint and great craftsmanship..! Love the color..!
espo Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 This is really nice. What engine did you use ? Valve covers look like Pontiacs. If I could afford a 1:1 Olds this is how I'd want it to look.
the goon Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Man you nailed that, super sweet build, and that paint looks perfect.... +1. Very cool. Mark
