My first post in the Drag Racing catagory !
Started with the Hippie Hemi... threw the body into the parts box (good bits for custom pannels etc) & scratch built a little period flat wrap shell
Nice, well detailed Hemi, looked good with the yellow block & simple black frame so I kept the decorations to a minimum. I know the Class is wrong but I liked the script!
It turned out to be a sweet build & looks good on the shelf!

Thanks for the comments gentlemen

The sketch on the side of the box showed a nice chassis etc & thats why I bought it. I won't comment on the body....

And yes, it was based on the Garlitts kit which I don't think I have ever seen! Would be nice.

One thing to think about. I don't know what sort of power they were getting back then but it was a hemi, it was blown & Garlitts was good so it would be big, then look at the chassis, short, light, single role bar & the kit has nice detailed drum brakes !! They were heroes!

Thanks again

Brian
