LoudFordPypes Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 This is my build up of the ol' Duke boys getting away from Roscoe P. Coltrane.
Danno Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 There's no drivers. How'd this happen? It would be much better if the cars were pink.
Belugawrx Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 It would be much better if the cars were pink. ????? Looks awesome Cheers
LoudFordPypes Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 someone always has to criticize on here it seems
TheCat Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 great job. One of my favorite TV shows of the 80's.
BIG NICKY Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 that looks great I wish my dukes of hazard car came out that nice
disabled modeler Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 someone always has to criticize on here it seems Well I like it...pretty cool to me. I like to see someone make one of the landing that the show edits out too.
lordairgtar Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 someone always has to criticize on here it seems Not criticizing, but in action shots, drivers and passengers would really make the scene pop. Wouldn't need a whole human figure, just enough of what one would see through the windows. Could you imagine Coltrane's dog Flash's head out the window with ears a flapping in the breeze?
biggreenponcho Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Did you bend the subframe to simulate the damage caused by hitting the berm at 80 mph? To be truly authentic, the front wheels should be hitting the back of the inner fenders...... J/K, nice little diorama. I just hate the fact that Dukes of Hazzard was responsible for the destruction of so many old Chargers.
kruleworld Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 looks good. i'd probably add some brass rod to prop up the General, so it looks like it's starting to fly.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Well I like it...pretty cool to me. I like to see someone make one of the landing that the show edits out too. I'm working on one. Should be done in the Fall.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 The dio looks very very good to me, If I had to pick anything, it would be that the car is setting to low in the front as if it was going to nose dive into the water. The front end needs to be up more, the dirt mond mid peak should be lower. Then it would look like the car is shooting off the dirt embankment and flying. PS they only used 300 69 Chargers for the tv show. and over 20+ is still around yet! Dodge made over 250,000? Chargers in 1969 and a little more in 1969.
