Dennis Lacy Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) I've been wanting to dig into this kit since I got one back in January. Got a few other projects out of the way so it was finally time. I did make some basic changes to give the kit a personal touch. - Rear wheels, M&H slicks and fuel tank from Tony Nancy 22JR - Blower, drive belt, 4-port injector and scoop from KS Pitman Willys - Fuel pump, magneto, rear axle shield and decals from AMT Double Dragster - Ignition wires and fuel hose - Testors 1-coat Deja Blue on the body panels, Tamiya Light Gunmetal on the frame Edited June 1, 2014 by Dennis Lacy
AZ Boy Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Awesome build, Dennis! Simple and clean with just the right amount of detail. Great job!
W-409 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Yep, very nice and clean Dragster! I like the blue body panels and how they fit together with the grey frame. Nice detailing, too. I like the wheel and tire combo, too.
Bernard Kron Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Very well judged upgrade indeed! That Revell Willys top end is the key, that and conserving the chrome. A Sanitary Rail!
rustybill1960 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Very clean indeed! Your "personal" touches are make it so. I really like that You made it Yours by doing so. Thank You for sharing Later Russ

Jade043 Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Such a cool kit have seen a lot of people build this and every one is different. Really like the detail on the engine and the choice of color. Great build
