Custom Hearse Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 Very COOOOOOL! Thanks Larry! Now if I just had a real one...
Custom Hearse Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 Marshall, I love those Bat emblem wheels! Someone needs to use those on some other car, too cool! Post the pics when you get the figures painted, would love to see that! Gene The Bat emblems are photo etched. This kit has some great PE parts included. I plan on painting the figures today, and will post the pics as soon as possible. Thanks again Gene!
Custom Hearse Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 This really looks great!!! Nice job!!!! Thanks Ron! It took awhile, but I finally finished it.
Custom Hearse Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Now that's a real TV hero car! Good job, Marshall! Yes it is! I have the movie on DVD and it has the Batmobile special features on the disc. I love it!!! Thanks for the compliment Danno!
Custom Hearse Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Very nice, have to be my favourite bat mobile! Mine too! The Michael Keaton Batmobile is my second favorite. Thanks Ray!
blunc Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I wonder if Harry checked for the Bat-rearview mirror or the Bat-alternator bracket.
Custom Hearse Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 I wonder if Harry checked for the Bat-rearview mirror or the Bat-alternator bracket. Don't get him started...
Harry P. Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I wonder if Harry checked for the Bat-rearview mirror or the Bat-alternator bracket. Or the fact that the car has a normal internal-combustion engine, but a jet engine afterburner... Or the fact that the Batmobile had no wipers and no way to close the canopies. I guess Batman only chased the bad guys on sunny days!

sjordan2 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Pretty cool. But that's bad flash photography and it would be good to see some outside shots.
Custom Hearse Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Or the fact that the car has a normal internal-combustion engine, but a jet engine afterburner... Or the fact that the Batmobile had no wipers and no way to close the canopies. I guess Batman only chased the bad guys on sunny days! See what happens when you get Harry going? His mind starts thinking up some of the most off the wall things. I need to check with the company who manufactured him and see if there is an reset button...
Custom Hearse Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 didn't you know that Batman installed a Bat deflector shield just before he left the Bat-garage, rain just slides off. and the afterburner is an early emissions device to clear up any unburnt fuel. ...And now you know, the REST of the story. So take that Harry!
Custom Hearse Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 I'M BATMAN Awesome job, looks good Thanks Glenn... But I'm Batman!!!
Custom Hearse Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Pretty cool. But that's bad flash photography and it would be good to see some outside shots. Thanks Skip, but if I try to take some outside pics right now, it'll still be "flash" photography... There's a thunderstorm coming this way. Besides the model will get wet, and then Harry will ask where is the Bat deflector shield, and then we have to explain to Harry all over again... My head hurts just thinking about it!
Pat Minarick Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Very cool ! I got to get me one of those things !
Custom Hearse Posted June 6, 2014 Author Posted June 6, 2014 Very cool ! I got to get me one of those things ! Thanks Pat! It was surprisingly easy to build, and the photo etched parts are really nice! Definitely worth the money.
