I just wanted a share a couple of pictures with you guys. I've seen lots of cool stuff in this section and I think this is worth sharing. It is a '31 Ford Model A from Finland, with an original steel body that has been chopped 4,5" and channeled 4". The frame is also modified to make it lower. The engine is an Early Hemi with six chromed Stromberg carbs. Those pipes are Loud!

i cant beleive they changed the color that car was built in texas and was all white

Are you sure? I don't have the magazine on hand where was an article of this car, but if I remember correctly this is built in Finland. When I get back home I'll take the magazine and give it another look.

Another Finnish car coming soon... First I need to decide which one!

...and best of all....you can build your own scale version of this one using Norm Veber's new Chopped '31 Model A Coupe body.

I don't have his price list in front of me right now, but I believe the price is under $30 and includes a really well done body, two windshield visors (one drilled just like the one in Niko's post above and one plain), and two deck lids (one louvered and one plain). Highly recommended from Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland Company.

You can see their ad in any issue of Model Cars Mag (no, they do not have a web site per se.) TIM

Interesting! I wish there would be more model kits of '30-'31 Fords, I think these are a lot nicer than '32 Fords. That resin body sounds interesting, I might have to buy one at some point.

I just read the article about this car again. It's built completely in Finland, when it arrived from California the body and frame were in original shape so all of the modifications are done in Finland. It sure is a nice car.

Wow! Beautiful!

I want some of those rear tires! I've never seen wide white cheater slicks with checkered flags in the tread!!
