You should see the corn west of where I work, it was about 4-5 feet tall when I drove out to a friend's house tonight for a little back yard R/C "racing".

Raining here too, Thank God! We need it!:blink::rolleyes:

It EVEN rained here!!!! Nice of you to share, Mike!

East Mesa usually hogs all the rain that ever comes to the Valley.

(By way of explanation for you all who aren't from the Valley of the Sun: Rain usually comes in from the South and East and those Mesa people usually keep it for themselves and don't share it with us in the North part of the Valley.)

Not so Harry as if you'd check the 10 day forecast, you'll be able to do a cruise night on Monday, Wednesday, and a car show next Sunday in your Impala. Remember that car is NO fun sittin' in the garage.

we have had rain off and on for days, just had a tornado touch down yesterday... in northern Ohio, that's a little out of the ordinary. second one in 2 weeks.....and below norm temperatures also.

It has rained somewhere in the valley every day for a week now. Trouble is the denuded areas from last year's fire still cannot retain the flow and the west side is all mud now.

Glad I live at a higher elevation.

Actually I'm thinking about selling the Impala and getting a vintage Mustang instead. Because I'm 95% sure I'm going to buy a 2015 Mustang this fall... so I'd have a new one and a vintage one in the garage. B)

No rain here today so far...there was a light sprinkle last night when I was in the pool then the haboob warning, but no haboobery here in my area. Weather forecast for the next week is chance of thunderstorms everyday...but at least it's been 'cool' lately (only low 100s and not 110s..)..such is monsoon season..

One new Mustang and one vintage Mustang in the garage, that's NO fun Harry. You've got to take them out of the garage. Many people did just that tonight a "cruise night" and it was packed to say the least. There was at least 1000 people on the streets checkin' out all the cool rides on this beautiful night.

I don't mean literally sitting in the garage.

I mean in the garage, as in I own them.

Hard to say. I like a lot of them. I'd like an early version (65-66-67), but then again I like the look of the late 60s fastbacks. I'd have to do my research and see what different ones are going for before I can narrow it down, but it might be nice for the vintage one to be a convertible, since the new one will be a coupe.
