johnyrotten Posted June 28 Posted June 28 On my way home saw a two Ranchero's, one of the big 70's style and a first generation along with a 70 duster drag car out for sale. Wasn't able to get any picks of those, managed to get one of another ford, she was looking rough, just like the neighborhood.

Absolutely beautiful craftsmanship. Awesome Willy's as well. And h#$k yeah show your car off, that's part of why we have them. The Junkman Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Two (count them-2) 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 convertibles. One pristine and straight, black top over a dark, dark maroon on US 101 north of Cloverdale, CA. The other was at a Costco and would have been at home in a trailer park outside of any major or minor city. Front clip, hood, both doors, and rear end each a different color. The grill had a 2-3 in gap from the r/front fender. Didn't note any interior door panels. However I saw it drive away and the engine sounded smooth and cared for. Priorities, I guess. Also a classic early 60s Mini that sounded a bit "rorty".

Going towards Chino Valley. Regarding showing off, I'm not used to that much in one day. A different looking tricycle parked next to me at the morning cruise, Rotex sound familiar? I asked lots of dumb questions because I don't ride motorcycles. One thing that is fascinating, had motorcyclist #3 give me the thumbs up when he paced me on the highway. Working in a Chevy Store in the '70's we took one like this in a shade of yellow in trade. Since they sold my Demo that day, I just took the trade-in as a driver for the weekend. Turned out to be a 351 with a 4-speed. While not a Ford guy, I was impressed with the performance and enjoyed my weekend. 2
Rob Hall Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Went out for breakfast and saw a bright green '70s Toyota FJ Land Cruiser pickup w/ an '80s Chevy S10 pickup bed...looked better than that sounds. Also saw a '71-72 Chevy Chevelle SS in a silver blue (only saw the rear end from a distance, so not sure of the year--round taillights w/ SS badge above the license plate).
