Dominik Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Hallo, today i want to share my old Revell '56 Ford Pick up. Its the same kit, that reissued as "Roth-Edition" white with red flames on the box. I built the issues of 1990, red on the box. Some details i worked on, made a smart custom of it - but with modern drivetrain. I choosed the 1999 Ford SVT Cobra - it fit perfect. Some wiring and done. Enjoy Thats it, comments always welcome
Prince Ital Mike Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Nice, and that yellow mirror is a cool touch!!!
Scuderia Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Awesome job, and nice power transplant too! love it.
JTalmage Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 That is pretty much the most perfect sleeper truck ever!!
thatz4u Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 nice job on a not Revell's best kit, wish they would do a new tool edition...
Sixties Sam Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 It's a beauty! Those Revell 56's were a tough build. I'm impressed with how well you got the doors to fit. Very good work! Great color, too! Sam
unclescott58 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 People love to complain about this kit. It looks like you got your's to turn out OK Dominik. In fact better than OK. It looks great. Nice job. Scott
Daddyfink Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Great job on a terrible kit! I like the sleeper look. This is one kit that should be re-done by Revell. Maybe a big window option would be nice.
Lunajammer Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 A bold choice to make the troublesome Revell kit appear stock. But it's very well done and the engine looks sooooo good.
Dominik Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 Thank you very much - for all comments. I know about the terrible kit. But this was my challenge, to make it a cool ride. Was a grab out of my brothers shelf I like those old kits were doors / trunklids working. Great job on a terrible kit! I like the sleeper look. This is one kit that should be re-done by Revell. Maybe a big window option would be nice. Dito! I hope, they make it with new tools.
