Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Holy krap, Tulio! Fantastic! Beautiful model in every way.The paint job is absolutely flawless! You just say that because it has a MIRROR. Tell the truth Harry
drifterdon Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Another stunner Tulio. One of my favorite Chevy's of all time. Would love to see what you can do with a '57 Thunderbird....
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Thanks gentlemen!! Like you can see, I'm not much into adding extra detail, even on big scale models like this Chevrolet. I like more to work on the paint, and body, than making extra detail for the mechanical part. Even tough, I made some stainless steel exhaust tips, and also made some quarter windows, to make the car to look more real. The engine and chassis tough, are just as the kit brought, and only detailed basically with paint.
sjordan2 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Beyond spectacular. Looks amazingly real. Great photos. Edited July 17, 2014 by sjordan2
Guest Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Stunning! Glad to see you build cars other than Fords!
AZ Boy Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Magnificent, Tulio! The best buildup of this kit I've ever seen.
carrucha Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Another amazing build. The black paint job is flawless.
om617 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Beautiful 57,and they look so good in black. Did you use HDR on the pictures?
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Beautiful 57,and they look so good in black. Did you use HDR on the pictures? No, I just use the HDR button on Photoshop, so the dark parts can actually be seen. I have the pictures without the use of HDR resource, but they do look dark. For real HDR you have to take two pictures with different exposure levels and so on, and the effect is a lot more beautiful.
Monty Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I know you enjoy pouring your heart and soul into those old Fords, but this, IMNSHO, is without a doubt your best work.
