Tony T Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 2 Monogram kits used - Mustang 2+2 and GT350R. Built to depict a weekend warrior hobbyist racer's car. Used Tamiya TS-14 Black from the can with 2 coats of Future before decals and one coat after decals. Dash glove box door cut out, radio deleted, rear wheel tubs cut out to fit the larger rear tires, wheel centres and exhaust tips drilled out, front dust caps added. No wires as wanted to build as a shelf model. Enjoy. (More photos here)
Tony T Posted July 17, 2014 Author Posted July 17, 2014 Ooops...better go...the guard dog is interested in what I'm up to...
MikeBoyle Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 (edited) Looks like its ready to rip up some corners. Edited July 17, 2014 by MikeBoyle
vamach1 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Looks too clean. It needs some rock chips and road grime and rubber on the rear quarters Seriously - nice build.
Maxicoop Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 great lookin' weekend warrior like the tape on the head lights
Lovefordgalaxie Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I liked it. Very well executed. Personally, I miss the chrome tough. But nothing to detract from the build quality, it was a choice you made, and the car DOES look great.
Tony T Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 Thanks guys...really appreciate it...was a fun build!
