But what color?? I have abandoned orange and am thinking blue with a white top and hockey stripes. Not what you would think this type of car to be... Which is the point....

Thanks alot fellas,,,, Fred I'm still not sure on a color yet...lol... I've made some progress on this one... I've got most of the electronics for the inside of the car done and started installing them... I also got the overhead box wired in...

Hey Tyrone, I have a question that has been bothering me for a while now... When the headers go through the front fenders like here, I believe you will have to install the engine to the chassis first and then you can glue on the headers? I'm just wondering because I should make that kind of headers on some of my builds, too.

Anyway you're doing a great job with this Camaro. The electrics look fantastic and your detailing is incredible, as always. I'm interested in seeing this thing in paint.

Niko.. I have come up with a way of doing my headers now that works pretty good.. I drill holes in the heads for exhaust ports ....

then I make my lower tubes first.. I mark in side the inner fenders where I want them to come out. and tack them together with super glue..

then I make the two top tubes....

I then trim the tubes down and add the collectors...

drilling the holes has worked well for me Niko... hope this helps...

Alright fellas... I've got the headers all finished up.. I added some weld beads from archer decals, painted them gloss black and then hit them with some chrome...

then I hit them with different shades of metalizer paints...

Tyrone: This is beautiful. I seem to notice components of both stock kit and home fashioned roll cage tubes; is this true? I just completed my 1st total roll cage build thanks to am73grand's tutorial and it turned out o.k. for a first try. I'll be bookmarking this page for your excellent detailing techniques and the answer to my prayers - a nice tutorial on those pro-mod headers that exit through the body! I just have to find a body that allows enough room between the edge of the front fenderwell and the front door jamb.

I heard through the grapevine about your successful sale on Ebay and I wanted to offer congrats. I don't know if I could let go of any piece of artwork worth that much For us amateurs, you offer a lot of inspiration and desire to catch up to that raised bar!

Tyrone: forgot to ask - I've seen a lot of the electronics and KONI boxes on builds that you're using. Are they homemade or where do you get them? I like the water pump too and would like to know the same. You've got that down perfectly. I've used Futurattraction's crank trigger kit and I like it alot. I'm sure you know all the tricks, but I've picked up tiny hex styrene rods from Hobbylinc to use as bolt heads and 10 rods are only $3.00!

Great job Tyrone detail is outstanding. Im just starting to find a lot of aftermarket parts and what tools to use. what do you use for your wiring and for your fogger lines if you don't mind me asking. Thanks Brian

This is looking killer man. Could you please tell us what you are using for Header pipes and how you get them to bend and keep their bends? Headers are another area I have not been able to master.

Brian I get my detail wire is from detail master... fogger lines are some small wire that I get from work....

Well I got my photo etched lenko shifter from Scott done and installed tonight...
