It's October 23rd in Arizona, and it's cool enough to open some windows around the house, letting in the fresh cool air. This is almost heaven!

Hey! Copy cat! It can't nice down there, if it's nice up here. Can it? Doesn't seem right. Presently the temps here are in the upper 60's. For late October this is great. Normally around this time of the year, I'd be wishing I had the money to retire, and spend my winters in Arizona. Those thoughts maybe delayed a month or two the way this fall is going. But, being this is Minnesnowa, the hell will come. Late January, early February it will be so cold the windows will be frozen shut (hopefully). And Russin Roulette will be looking like a game that might just be fun.

Isn't that a cheery note? Back to the here and now. Back to living in Paradise.

Weather's been perfect down here near the left coast of FLA. Sunny and 80 during the day, mid 50's at night and low humidity. The only negative is that I have to turn on the pool heater to maintain 90 degree water.

Thanks Jim. Rub it in. :)

Pleased that my wife is doing pretty good after a bunion removal surgery yesterday. She has had 3 operations in the last two years. Hopefully this will be the end of it. She got a couple screws put in this time.

I was lucky to get to test drive a pre-production" Ford F-150 today as part of a promotion program. The new 2015 Ford truck will be showing up at dealerships 'bout mid January. Nice ride!

I'm HOME! It feels good to be in my own home (and my own bed) after a week away on business.

I was running a week long conference for 65 people in Puerto Rico for my large pharma client. I was worried because things there run on "island time" which means stuff like meals and rented busses show up when they feel like it. Also in my preplanning, I was calling restaurants asking about bringing a group of 50 or more people and they'd never get back to you. So there was plenty of nail biting that things would work out. Things did fall into place and the conference was considered a great success.

I flew home yesterday and slept until 10am, still tired after 7 days of working from 6am until 11pm. But it was worth it! :)

Since I don't have a Pay Pal account, I had a good friend get me a Danbury Mint Kookie's Kar from Evil-bay. I looks great and I'm doin' the "happy dance" as I put it in my display case.

I read in today's newspaper that the release of the movie Furious 7 will be in the spring of next (2015) year, with the Walker brothers filling in for the late Paul Walker.

Looking forward to that as well
