wayne swayze Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 This started out as the police sedan in the "Backdraft" combo with the firetruck, I believe. Been years since I built this, I've forgotten for sure. Anyway, decided to modify it a bit, and make a grocery getter wagon. Made the rear floor, wheel wells, and the back of the rear seat is carpeted like the floor if you wanted the seat folded down. Made the roof rack and the windows are acetate. Opened up the holes in the rear bumper for the taillights and threw on a radio antenna. The hubcaps are 25 th scale from a '37 Chev. Also put a tow-hitch on....'cause you never know what you might drag home. I know it's wrong in many ways, but thought I'd show it to you. Thanks for looking.

blunc Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 nice conversion, it's nice to see someone other than me working in 1/32 scale.
peekay Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Nice work, Wayne! Funny how appealing models of very ordinary subjects can be. This would turn my head quicker than any Lambo/etc at a model show.
