martinfan5 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Moebius announced on its a FaceBook page that they will not be making any new kit announcements tell 2015 Both plastic kits, both at least a year out with no scale or pricing to be announced until early 2015. With one small exception, no more new kits or licensing to be announced until next year, and this does include iHobby in October.
Rob Hall Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 (edited) Well, they've announced a lot of new and modified tools this year..it will probably be more than enough to take them into next year...at least 8 pending releases by my count..(2 Hudsons, 2 Pontiacs, Mercury Comet, Plymouth Satellite, and 2 Ford pickups)... mikemodeler Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Not surprised. Maybe they can focus on their full plate and deliver what they have already shown us. And have it right so everyone will be happy.
High octane Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 2015 is less than 5 months away and I have plenty to build. I wish I had as much motivation as I do plastic.
Robberbaron Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I agree - lots of (good) stuff in their pipeline already.
jbwelda Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I think its fairly incredible how these folks are going from talk to actual production model. if all they have announced actually come out, anywhere near announced delivery date, I think they will have won whatever contest there might be for that sort of thing! . jb
slusher Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Many things they have announced to look forward to. Quality takes time...
mikemodeler Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 I noticed on the Tower Hobbies website today that the Ford Pickup is now listed as a December release.
gtx6970 Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 All the major model manufacturers could take a couple years off and I would still be good. I already have more than I'll probably ever build anyway
