carcrazy19 Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) I had a lot of fun building this kit...definitely going to buy another one of these. I kept it box stock with the exception that I used embossing powder to simulate carpeting. I didn't like the result I got when I used the embossing powder kind a looks clumpy to me... but it was my first time trying to simulate carpet so I'll keep practicing. I used testors one coat Lacquer revving red with three coats of wet look clear I really love that stuff. I sanded and polished the paint added some detail to the engine carpment but still haven't tried wiring up the engine yet...still feel like I have to improve on my basic skills before I try it. I might try on my next build but not sure yet. Well I think it came pretty good I'm really happy with it. Hope you all like it, enjoy. Edited August 10, 2014 by carcrazy19

misterNNL Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Easy to see why you are pleased with this one.Great gloss on your paint as well.Just goes to prove that great models don't have to take a year to build and have all kinds of photo etched parts on them to be cool.Nice job!

Harry P. Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Looks to me like you have more than enough skill to try wiring your engines.
Helix Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Nice work Anthony, no matter how you build this kit, it looks good in any colour and any angle
