Finally something off the bench!

Simple kit, low parts count making a fun build in between major projects.

Tamiya AS-27 Gunship Grey, several coats no clear used, was going for "the look".... ;)

A few engine details, lowered suspension, originally I had planned to used another set of deep dish steel rims with a lighter shade of grey, but I found some rims that were already painted, so I mounted them on a set of AMT Round 2 whitewalls which gave it a nostalgic look...something that granpa would go to church in :D !

I kinda like how it turned out ;)

very nice build, ray. like the blue open wheels, and that nasty rat nestled in the go department......great work from your workbench, as always....a.c. the ace...............................

awesome lookin' build.....should get Grandpa to church on time ..... as long as he doesn't have to stop for gas..hahahahaha ..... I really like it color combo is great, I can really see this running down the road !!!

I'm not a big fan of '39 Chevy's but this car looks great. The paint job is wonderful and the wheels couldn't be a better color match, perfect!

Sweet Chevy. Where did you get those lovely engraved rocker covers? This thing should fly,very cool.

The rocker covers come with the kit Tommy!
