Bernard Kron Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 A how-to-in-the-making on undoing the Rat-Roaster specific "damage" and backdating this erstwhile "replacement" for the venerable Highboy kit. Keep it coming. Those flathead mounts are very cool. Did you fab them?
squirrel886 Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Thanks Bernard! Yes sir, out of styrene.
Belugawrx Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Wake those Pandas up Get 'em back on the files great lookin start Cheers
squirrel886 Posted August 21, 2014 Author Posted August 21, 2014 .......gussets added to flathead mounts, and front suspension mounted.
Spex84 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Nice work so far...I like those engine mounts and the frame cleanup looks good. I wasn't a fan of the Rat Roaster's frame, so this is much better.
squirrel886 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Factory molded kit floorboard on the left, modified floorboard on the right. I removed the center console locating rib, added the raised seat detail, and retextured the floorboard.
Bernard Kron Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 You're giving this kit wayyyyy more love than it deserves. It should be a stunner when you're done!
squirrel886 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Thanks Bernard! I just trying to maintain the standard of everyone else's work on here.
