1971 Nova Rallynova "Street Machine"
Inspired by the seventies era Street Machine style of car i drive in that time, ( I drive 1974 Nova SS)


Kits:

  • Two from Revell, 1969 Nova SS350 for the 350c.i., headers, jacking block & traction bar.
  • Another one a 1969 Copo Nova, for his flat hood and and front full bench.
  • AMT Baldwin Motion 1970 Camaro for the Cragar and rear tires.
  • AMT 1972 Nova for the steering wheels and tail light!

Paint:

  • PPG GM Burnt orange code 62 in 1971

Decals:

  • Fred Cady sheet #26

And a lot of fun to built! (Not available a t Hobby Shop.

Very Nice !! I had a blue one with a black stripe. I have a lot of the kits and decals to build of mine and how it looked through the years I had it. :rolleyes:

Nice Job! Looks fantastic. I'm a real Nova nutcase and one of the things that bug me about that kit is the body line on side of the car being too pronounced. I bet the rally stripes toned it done a little. You did a fine fine fine job takes me back.

Super sharp build. Man, that burnt orange sure looks sharp. My uncle has a '72 Rally (silver with black interior and stripes) and back in the day he had it set up very similar to your build.
