Mooneyzs Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 John... my brother will you quit teasing us with the real car and show the model.... Absolutely Gorgeous my friend. You know I am a big fan of your work and admire your builds. I have had the honor of seeing this and many other of Johns builds in person and they are amazing. this build.
rmvw guy Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Looks REAL! Harry could have fooled me with this one in his real or model thread. All the detail is out of this world. The paint looks like the real deal, you really brought this one to life, nice job!
David@MinidreamsInc. Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 As said before i thought this was a real car you plan to build ! I'M BLOWN AWAY !!!!!
Harry P. Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This model was featured in Model Cars #187 (July 2014)...
Sixx Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This model was featured in Model Cars #187 (July 2014)... And a great story with it! I dig this build ! It does look so REAL !
wayne swayze Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Like others here, I thought, "Nice hot rod, but where's the model?" That is unbelievably fabulous! Congratulations!
Lunajammer Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I can never understand how your textures, patinas and fittings can be so true to life that scale cannot be determined. A masterful piece of the highest caliber.
customsrus Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Hey Harry I am voting real on this one. Details are outstanding on this build. Johns builds always makes me want to give up on model building. But not yet....
DeeCee Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I was , like others, waiting for the model of what you were building, OUTSTANDING built, so life like, I still can not convince myself it is a model.
Metalmad Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I had the pleasure to see this build up close at my first NNL West in Santa Clara and I have to say this build is amazing ! Awesome building as always John keep them coming !
Danno Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I, too, have had the opportunity of seeing this creation in person . . . and the privilege of being able to really scrutinize it up close. It is beyond belief! So spectacular it defies adjectives.
JTalmage Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Wait... its not real? holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH...
peekay Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This thing looks totally real from all angles and no matter how close the camera gets. Truly amazing work!
Dragline Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 This is quite an accomplishment John. The realism is second to none. It could pass for real any day of the week. Reality striven for, then attained. Impressive. Bob
