Hello……..this is a replica of Kurt Wilson`s 23 T` bucket……..that I built for him last year…….I finally found some of my finished "outside" photos………I would like to thank Mr. Kurt Wilson for asking me to build this replica …….thank you to Darryl Gassaway for providing the reference photos and for donating the basic kit…….and thank you Gregg Hutchings for also donating a grip of parts…….I had enough parts to make a least another model……..also thank you to Mike Flynn for making the scoop for the engine……..if you would like to see how I built this model you can go to this link……..thanks for looking.

John... my brother will you quit teasing us with the real car and show the model.... ;) Absolutely Gorgeous my friend. You know I am a big fan of your work and admire your builds. I have had the honor of seeing this and many other of Johns builds in person and they are amazing. this build.

Looks REAL! Harry could have fooled me with this one in his real or model thread. All the detail is out of this world. The paint looks like the real deal, you really brought this one to life, nice job!

This model was featured in Model Cars #187 (July 2014)... B)

And a great story with it! I dig this build ! It does look so REAL !

I can never understand how your textures, patinas and fittings can be so true to life that scale cannot be determined. A masterful piece of the highest caliber.

Hey Harry I am voting real on this one. Details are outstanding on this build. Johns builds always makes me want to give up on model building. But not yet....

I was , like others, waiting for the model of what you were building, OUTSTANDING built, so life like, I still can not convince myself it is a model.

I had the pleasure to see this build up close at my first NNL West in Santa Clara and I have to say this build is amazing ! Awesome building as always John keep them coming !

I, too, have had the opportunity of seeing this creation in person . . . and the privilege of being able to really scrutinize it up close. It is beyond belief! So spectacular it defies adjectives.

This is quite an accomplishment John. The realism is second to none. It could pass for real any day of the week. Reality striven for, then attained.

Impressive.
