MikeBoyle Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Just finished my first attempt at building a diorama. Have had the idea for a while, just finally got brave enough to try it. The "mud" is Celluclay paper mache painted with acrylic craft paint. Jeep is one of the many reissues of the Daisy Duke CJ-5 (even though the real Daisy Jeep is a CJ-7). Figure is a resin "mechanic" I got off evil bay. Winch was scratch built. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
DrGlueblob Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Great diorama! That dude'll be missing his shoes soon after they get "mud-sucked"..
Chuck Most Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Ten years ago or so, this would have been how I spent my typical Friday evening. Very cool!
gasser59 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Man he's in up over the axles. Its gonna take a bit of work to get him out of that!! Nicely done and very convincing.
MikeBoyle Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Thanks! I had a lot of fun building it.

darthsideous Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 I really like how you did the mud it really looks like mud and not dried out plaster or some other material. Good going!
