here is a tough one. this is off of one of the greatest albums ever from the 80's in my opinion. there were 2 big hits off this album. the base player, who was also the lead singer has since passed.

down from the glen came the marching men,

with their shields and their swords.

to fight the fight, they believe to be right

overthrow the overlord

this is a song by thin lizzy off the jailbreak album called EMERALD

just lickin her lips

and helping me along.

you have to be a little off the tracks to enjoy this guys music.

Hi everyone... Happy New Year to you all!

I don't mind letting you down easy
But just give it time
If it don't hurt now then just wait, just wait a while

You're not the big fish in the pond no more
You are what they're feeding on

So what are you gonna do when the world don't orbit around you?
So what are you gonna do when the world don't orbit around you?

And none other than Ted Nugent on guitar at 17 or 18 years old.

The strands in your eyes that color them wonderful

Stop me and steal my breath.

And emeralds from mountains thrust towards the sky

Never revealing their depth.

Tell me that we belong together,

Dress it up with the trappings of love.

Still up

Old one but a good one. I have it in my music library

Uh-Look-ah there

There she comes

Here comes that girl again

Wanted to date her since I don't know when But she don't notice me

when I pass

She goes with older guys from out of my class

Really surprised no one got this one....Eddie Cochran- Something Else

Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell

Jimmy Rogers on the Victrola up high

Mama's dancin' with baby on her shoulder

The sun is settin' like molasses in the sky

The boy could sing, knew how to move, everything

Always wanting more, he'd leave you longing for

In the dumps with the mumps
As the adolescent pumps
His way into his hat

Same melody, two different sets of lyrics:

1.There was a time when the world was fickle

And it may have been hard to succeed

But times have changed now, and school and training

Is all you really need...

"Things Are Changing" - The Blossoms/The Supremes/Jay and the Americans - produced by Phil Spector, Brian Wilson on piano

2. There she goes, she ran in her room

She'll prob'ly stay in there the rest of the day

It sounds like it must have been something you said

You know she's awfully used to getting her way...

"Don't Hurt My Little Sister" - The Beach Boys

Hints: #1 was recorded by at least three big groups. #2 was recorded by another big group, whose leader also played piano on #1.
