I know who it is, and I know the song, but I'm staying away from this one due to some very damaging and inflammatory things the singer said about Jesus Christ a few years ago. As a result of those misguided statement, I'll have nothing to do with this performer who I used to really like. Too bad this person is so misguided. I'll shun any more references to this person as well.

I hope I didn't give any clues with this little rant of mine.

Thanks for the info on Elton Jim. I did not know this as you can see by my signature line my beliefs ....

Cheers music peoples!!!! For those who follow my posts I typically post multiple songs or a theme. Here's a theme of five coming at ya

Classic songs with a WHA Pedal

#1) Well, I pick up all the pieces and made an island

Might even raise a little sand

Yeah

#2) As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning

I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back

#3) Staring blindly into space

Getting up to splash my face

#4) He's a complicated man

But no one understands him but his woman

#5) I hate to look into those eyes

And see a ounce of pain

Darkest of night
With the moon shining bright
There's a set goin' strong
Lotta things goin' on
The man of the hour
Has an air of great power
The dudes have envied him for so long

Harry should get this one (can anyone beat him to it?):

Ten silver saxes,
a bass with a bow
The drummer relaxes
and waits between shows

I've been driving all night, hands wet on the wheel. There's a voice in my head that drives my heel. My baby call said I need you here, it half past four and I'm shifting gears.

One of my all time favorites!

She always smiled for the people she'd meet
On trouble and strife
She had another way of looking at life
