Baby, don't understand
Why we can't just hold on to each other's hands?
This time might be the last I fear unless
I make it all too clear I need you so, oh

Smokestack, fatback, many miles of railroad track
All night radio, keep on runnin' through, your rock 'n' roll soul
All night diners, keep you 'wake, on black coffee, and a hard roll

Here's something obscure

You read me my rights and then you said "Let's go" and nothing more
I thought of my nights, and how they were
They were filled with

I know you wouldn't go
You'd watch my heart burst then you'd step in
I had to know so I asked
You just had to laugh

Every time I have to lie

It tears me apart

Every time I see you cry

It takes a piece of my heart...

Hint: Opening song from this singer's final album. (Dennis Doty and I are big fans of this singer.)

Bad to the bone

George Thorogood? (sp)

yea, the first one is a separate song. for some reason, when I do a few posts in a row, they act like its the same post and puts them together. the George thorogood one is right.

the other line is Alice Cooper, go to h-e-doublehockeystick.

sorry about the confusion, I usually catch that when it happens. well, at least I shook up some brain cells on that one.

Aerosmith

Love in an elevator

I was born in the backwoods

Of a two-bit nowhere town

Fathered up some rock 'n' roll, baby

So you mothers could boogie down

I ain't whistling, Dixie

No, I'm a rebel with a groove, yeah

not much of a second verse...

All around the world they go 'round an' 'round

When they dig on my new stainless steel sound, oh yeah

I was born my papa's son,

when I hit the ground I was on the run.

I had one glad hand and the other behind.

You can have yours, just give me mine.

When the hound dog barkin' in the black of the night,

stick my hand in my pocket, everything's all right.

You know I'm a dreamer

But my heart's of gold

I had to run away high

So I wouldn't come home low

Just when things went right

It doesn't mean they were always wrong

Just take this song, and you'll never feel

Left all alone

What's got you so jumpy?

Why can't you sit still, yeah?

Like gasoline you wanna pump me

And leave me when you get your fill, yeah

No matter what you think you've done
You'll find it's not enough
No matter what you think you know
You won't get through
It's a given, L.A. law Someone's faster on the draw
No matter where you hide
I'm comin' after you
