misterNNL Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 (edited) I did find a spec sheet on line just now that lists a real "knuckle draggin"street aluminum hemi equipped with a single 1050 dominator carb with a listed weight of 527 lbs.each x 2 =1,054 lbs. They also are stating that a graphite(!)block is now available for hard core race usage. That all being said, you team could start filling their on- board keg with lite beer to level the nose a little): Edited December 11, 2016 by misterNNL dislexia

DrKerry Posted December 11, 2016 Author Posted December 11, 2016 hollow-core engine blocks filled with "upsee-dasium" lol
misterNNL Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 The only upgrade possible from that would be unobtainium 60.
DrKerry Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 I don't think on a real boat this is too far out of left field. There have been twin engine drag boats before in real life with smaller hulls than this. Kwicherbichen.com boat which is where I got the name only changed it a bit... Has twin engines, although not blown...
TarheelRick Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 That will definitely be one heck of a trolling boat; fish better be quick to get a bite. I like it.
DrKerry Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Thanks Rick!!!! Just keep the line out back. Sooner or later something will bite.....
DrKerry Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 Well after a little work last night the engines are done and I started prepping the hull for paint...... I'll hopefully get a couple pics of the power plants and post them up soon!!!!
Intmd8r Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Looking forward to those pics! I really like the work on this boat so far....
DrKerry Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 Ok, here are the finished engines. Hull of the boat is in flat black and getting ready for some Createx Wicked Colors Pearlized Plum. The 56 will have the same color on it with the white roof... Trailer will be staying white as well as the chassis on the 56 to tie everything together!!!! Exhaust, fuel lines etc will be covered by the rear of the deck so none of the cut off lines will be visible from the top...
DrKerry Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 After working on sanding priming and painting this is finally getting some color thrown on it....... it is now Purple!!!!!!!!!! Still needs a couple more coats in between wet sanding right now.....
426-Hemi Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 NICE Work Kerry! What shade of Purple you using??? -That looks GREAT and I have the "Hemi Hydro" to do myself, at some point so, I'm searching for ideas and a little inspiration for that one!
