Austin T Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Awesome idea! Looks like it would be sick as an arctic exploration vehicle. I still love the way this is going though.
Jeff B Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 The hilarious title drew me in, and that build is awesome!
Jantrix Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Man, that looks fantastic. What a great idea.
southpier Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 the Alexander Brothers are gonna be ticked . . . . .
disabled modeler Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 That is awesome Dan....I like it! great imagination at work.
DeeCee Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Great imagination mate. Love what you are doing with it.
hjracing Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Awesome build! I really like youre take on the Deora! I'll keep an eye on this one!
Maindrian Pace Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I would have never pictured the Deora like that, but it really works. Great expedition vehicle. -MJS
Tom Geiger Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 I've always been a Deora fan and have collected a lot of photos of the original, and other paper / digital property. I love your take on the vehicle! I wouldn't be doing it all black, since it won't photo well at all. I like all the black trim you have on it, but I can see this as bright orange or lime, some color that someone taking that puppy to the North Pole would paint it so rescue planes would see it!

DeeCee Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 With the theme you are doing, and you can't decide on the black or maybe white, how about black/white camo?? Just a thought.
LouO Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Reminds me of a Kiravan. Check out their site...it might yield a few ideas for you... http://kiravan.net/gallery/ Awesome idea for this odd kit.
SlotDaddy1963 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Awesome! Now it just needs Sigourney Weaver and some Colonial Marines climbing outa the back!
Tom Geiger Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 i think black would show up pretty good against the snow Tom! but i know what you mean, black can be boring & hard to photo. Old story... Augie Hiscano built a model for the old Revell contest series. It was black. The head judge told him that he didn't win because black wouldn't photograph well for all the magazine coverage they were planning, and to try again next year. The following year Augie built a very similar red hot rod and won first place! I remember that he won a brand new 1:1 Comet ! (anyone with better facts please chime in!)
blubaja Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 This is a great idea! Can't wait to see it finished!
kilrathy10 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 That looks pretty darned cool....Definitely, an original.....Great job....
