ranma Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Nice looking model! Always liked the '60 Chevy. Nice colour. Seen a real one this color parked in someones drive way Around Lima Ohio. love that turquoise and white paint style. BTW I bought the kit from Wal-Mart online for a total cost of $16.38! shipped free to my local wally world.
unclescott58 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Very nice Rick. Clean looking build. Scott
DynoMight Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Looks great, the only thing I would change is to hit the wheels with a black wash, it'll bring out the detail in the wheels!
impcon Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) Looks pretty nice from where I am sitting!! Those cars look good with the two tone paint and I actually bought a 1:1 hardtop in similiar colors many years ago for $20.00 - ( yes - twenty dollars ) I bought it for the factory front/rear fader switch for the radio. . Ah, the good old days - when Barrett Jackson wasn't even thought of and the old car hobby was just that - a hobby - and not the dollar fueled and driven racket that it has become today. That switch is now in my 1:1 '59 Impala convertibleThank you for posting. Edited September 1, 2014 by impcon
bbowser Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Very nicely done, perfect color for it. X2. You need to fiddle with your camera settings to find a little sharper focus. Look for a "macro" or "close up" setting?
rmvw guy Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Nice model! Looks like a lot of bare metal foil, nice work.
Guest Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) Nice job, great color. Edited September 2, 2014 by midnightprowler
The Modeling Hermit Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 That's a very nice build. I always loved those 60 Chevys and had one in some sort of strange yellow color with a green interior. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
