Modelmartin Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Very cool. Is there any story to go along with it?

Ace-Garageguy Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) All I know at this point is that she hadn't run in something like 25 years, and had been just sitting. Josh got her as part of a trade for a '41 Buick and had the T running again on the second day. I believe the last owner had had the car since the 1960s. There's some significant rust inside the trunk, but otherwise the car is remarkably solid and un-molested. The ignition boxes, radiator and linings in the transmission are being replaced, along with the ignition "timer", a 1925 version of today's cam-position sensor. It has 4 separate coils, kinda like a current car too. Look at the fan in the center engine shot and you'll see it's running. Edited September 7, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Rather have one of those than any new Ferrari or Lambo.
Art Anderson Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 One thing for sure: No other car will block your forward vision! Art
ChrisBcritter Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 And here's the 1920's idea of blinged-out:
JTalmage Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Sweet ride! Where is the hood and the front floorboards.
1930fordpickup Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 A friend has a 25 tall T . He is 6'3 and has a hard time riding around in it. Not much leg room to move around to get it started and warmed up.
Krazy Rick Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Thanks Bill, great shots - your buddy was very fortunate to get this in a deal - what a gem
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Sweet ride! Where is the hood and the front floorboards. Front floorboards are out while the trans bands are being replaced. Hood is off the car during engine work, but is in good shape.
JTalmage Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Front floorboards are out while the trans bands are being replaced. Hood is off the car during engine work, but is in good shape. Thats good to know. I was hoping it was complete. Car is too nice not to be.
