Snake45 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 (edited) Not sure what year this is supposed to be--early '90s? Anyway, AMT SnapFast painted with a blend of Model Master Stop Light Red and Kiln Red. I think I was trying replicate "Flame Red" or some name like that. I like the color. freakshow12 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Turned out nice. The gen 1 zr1 was a beast in it's day
matthijsgrit Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Love those 4th Gen ZR-1's! You built a very nice one.
Maxicoop Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Sweet build !!!!! very nice color !!!!!!
Nacho Z Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Nice Vette, Snake. That color does look good on it.
peekay Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Looks very cool in that colour. Nice clean build.
Bob Ellis Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 (edited) Think it's supposed to be a 1990. ERTL made 1989 promos of the ZR1 but Chevy didn't. Rumor is that they trashed all the promos, but it appears some made it to collectors. Edited September 13, 2014 by Bob Ellis
Dominik Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 very nice, like the color. one of my favorite corvette all times.
robertw Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Nice colour and nice build. Doing a snap version of that car was a good idea since the hood on most of the AMT C4 kits never seems to fit quite right. The kit that you used is, I believe, kit #6658 released in 1992.
RAMBENNA Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 nice love the 90ies vettes you did a great job
