bobthehobbyguy Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Lately I've been getting a bunch of emails in my spam folder claiming that I owe fees. Of course there is a link to a supposed document telling me the details which if I go to will compromise my computer. Just curious how many others are seeing these bogus emails.
Rob Hall Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I see them in my spam folder..I ignore them, there are no toll roads around here.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Yeah, and when the tool-road in question is in Ethiopia, you really have to wonder... "Honey...did you do any driving in Ethiopia last month? No? Hmmmm. Neither did I." Edited September 25, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
LDO Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) My spam folder lets me see the first line without opening it. Apparently, some chick named Adrianna is having trouble reaching me on Facebook...several times a week. Edited September 25, 2014 by LDO
Rob Hall Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 My spam folder lets me see the first line without opening it. Apparently, some chick named Adrianna is having trouble reaching me on Facebook...several times a week. She's been trying to reach me too. The funny thing is I did once date an Adriana, almost 20 years ago.
Joe Handley Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I've had a few try and contact me through Facebook.......but I can be awefully hard to find on there, since I've never joined it!
oldnslow Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Yep, got one of those yesterday, deleted, since I don't use toll roads.
Tom Geiger Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I've seen a few scam car ads on Craigs List... you know the ones with a year old car for $5000?? Only the scammer listed the mileage in kilometers! Guess he didn't know we use miles in the USA!
