Swamp Dog Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 this is not what i usually build but i think it turned out all right.. it all started as a rebuild. i first cut down the cab and molded in some square headlights ,reword the exhaust to run duels, added super singles ,s. steel tread plate, texas bumper and a few parts from parts box and this is what came out...

hgbben Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Looks real good. Always neat to see what modelers start with.
Petetrucker07 Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 This just looks cool. Very nice rebuild. Great colors.
scummy Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Gee , what a mighty rig that is mate . Gota love the transtars .
Brinx Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 David, Fantastic! I like how you combined old-school with modern tech. The super-singles look great on her, I get the idea that the owner still uses it for daily work, but keeps it clean enough to bring to shows. Excellent use of the flag decal as back window tint (gotta give that one a try myself). Beautiful restoration!
kilrathy10 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 That is some very nice work, Man....Very nice.....Great job on the chop.....
Chuck Most Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Looks pretty good! Bonus points for being a day cab.
