Ace-Garageguy Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 (edited) Not an album...it's a 24/7 stream of fantasy music from lesser known composers. Doubleplusgood if you like the genre. Edited September 8, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy

JollySipper Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 The more I listen to these guys, the better I like them....... This song has a choppy Thin Lizzy dual guitar thing going.
Fat Brian Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 I heard this as background music in a compilation of old drag racing pictures a while back and it still hits me in the feels every time. https://youtu.be/M0AI2ogNwhA?si=BRos-2_TJKMVAX1c

afx Posted December 7, 2023 Author Posted December 7, 2023 If you are audio geek like myself and enjoy how the later year Beatles and many Pink Floyd albums were carefully constructed to create a musical mood and sonic soundscape then Gomez - Bring It On is an album you will enjoy. Sit yourself down in front of your stereo system speakers, turn down the lights and let this album unfurl before you. Here is the opening track but you cannot fully appreciate it on any device you are using to consume this forum.
afx Posted December 17, 2023 Author Posted December 17, 2023 (edited) Elle King - Love Stuff Includes the song Exs and Ohs but here are a few other excellent songs on the album. Kocaine Karolina Edited December 17, 2023 by afx
Brian Austin Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 I'm just getting into this band, the dB's. '80s alternative/college rock is fascinating...
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Sorry...not an album...but it sure makes me want to work on a fast old car...
Brian Austin Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I recently went down the Tally Hall rabbit hole. They released two albums and then went on an extended hiatus. This song is from their debut album, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, which apparently had been re-recorded and re-released one or two times. The editing of this video is impressive. Tally Hall - Good Day

JollySipper Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Just finding this fellas music to listen to........... Kamasi Washington, he plays the saxophone. Cool little jazz ditty that falls apart in a few places (which I always enjoy!). Hope y'all like it!
1972coronet Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 International Submarine Band (Gram Parsons, et alia) , 1966. This song was dusted off a few years later by the Flying Burrito Brothers (Gram Parsons, Chris Hillman, "Sneaky" Pete Kleinow, Chris Etheridge, Michael Clarke) on their debut album Gilded Palace of Sin , 1969. As a side note : International Submarine Band was featured in the Roger Corman "exploitation" film The Trip (Peter Fonda, Bruce Dern, Dennis Hopper). For whatever reason, their actual music wasn't featured. As the story goes, Fonda wanted the I.S.B. music in the film, but it was deemed too unusual (e.g., "Country Rock") Without further ado :
