72 Charger Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Wow thats some great weathering . Is that a one eared rabbit under the front bumper?
bbowser Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Very convincing work, I like the semi-flat tire too! Speaking of Cranky, I haven't seen him on here in quite a while?
Grumpa Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Great weathering job Joe! I love the piece of broken trim!
peter31a Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 You learned a lot from Dr Cranky! That's a great job on the weathering. Nice job on the base as well.
BubbaJoe Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 thanks for the kind comments, it was an enjoyable build and it was a build of firsts...first time using the salt chipping technique, tissue paper interior, steel wool and vinegar solution on wood and my first time using an air brush.wow!!! what a difference using an air brush makes.
ZTony8 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I never realized the kit has six lug wheels.
TFchronos Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Very nice work. The rabbit under the front is a nice touch.
Sixties Sam Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Great weathering job - very realistic! Good build! Sam
